Old Video Of PM Modi Having A Light-Hearted Conversation With Mallikarjun Kharge Going Viral As An Incident From The Wedding Reception Of Supriya Sule’s Daughter.

Recently, a video of PM Modi having a light-hearted conversation with Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, along with others, went viral on social media. Sharing the video, users claimed that it is from the wedding reception of NCP(SP) leader Supriya Sule’s daughter, Revati Sule.

However, upon investigation, we found that the claim was misleading. The viral video is old and unrelated to Revati Sule’s wedding reception. Here’s the fact check.

Fact Check 

We started our investigation by taking screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to an X handle where the viral video was uploaded on May 28, 2026.

Though no further information regarding the video was available on the Tweet, it’s clear that the video predates the wedding of Supriya Sule’s daughter. Supriya Sule’s daughter, Revati Sule, got married in June 2026, and the reception in New Delhi took place on August 10, 2026.

Moving forward, we found the clip on an Instagram post on March 19, 2025.

According to the caption, the video is from the wedding reception of Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s sons.

Taking this clue, we conducted a relevant keyword search which led us to a report published in Amar Ujala on March 18, 2025. The photo attached in the report featured PM Modi with Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s family. We noticed that the outfit of PM Modi matched that of the viral video.

We found photos, in several reports, featuring PM Modi at the wedding reception of Supriya Sule’s daughter. The suit color of PM Modi in the wedding reception of Supriya Sule’s daughter was different.

This makes it clear that the viral video is not from the wedding reception of Supriya Sule’s daughter.

Conclusion 

From our investigation, we can say that the claim is misleading. The viral video doesn’t show PM Modi with Mallikarjun Kharge and other Congress leaders at the wedding reception of Supriya Sule’s daughter. This is an old video from the wedding reception of Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s sons.
