Even as the organization celebrates its 75th Anniversary in 2021, a number of links are going viral on messaging platforms claiming that Amul is giving out cash to winners of a contest. The message asks the user to click on the accompanying link to participate.

First, we checked the official website of Amul Dairy but failed to find any such announcement on any page.
Following this, we checked Amul’s official Twitter account for any such information and saw a post dated October 6, 2021, which has been pinned to the top, clarifying that the viral messages are Fake and that Amul is not organizing any such campaign. The post requests users to avoid clicking the viral links.
