In the backdrop of this, a video is circulating on social media claiming that it allegedly shows a live video of the war between Russia and Ukraine. Video shows a gun firing down a jet that is throwing bombs on the buildings.
The caption of the video reads, “Russia vs Ukraine live war video.”
Fact Check-
We started our investigation by going through the comments of the viral video where we found several users commenting that this video is not real and is of a video game.
Keeping this in mind, we ran a keyword search on YouTube that led us to a video published by a YouTube channel named Compared Comparison on 6 January 2022. The caption of the video reads, “A-10 Warthog Missile Gun Run – C-RAM – Military Simulation – ArmA 3 #Shorts.”
The caption and the description of the video clearly state that this video shows visuals of the video game Arma-3.
What is ARMA-3?
ARMA 3 is an open-world, realism-based, military tactical shooting video game developed and published by Bohemia Interactive, a Czech video game developer based in Prague.
