However, upon investigation, we discovered that the claim is misleading. The viral video is old and not from Gujarat. Here’s the fact check.
Fact Check
We started our investigation by taking screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to an Instagram handle where the viral video was uploaded on January 18, 2026.

According to the report, the video was related to the Mahayuti’s victory in the BMC elections 2026.
We found other similar posts claiming the video shows the Muslim supporters’ victory dance after the BJP’s victory in the BMC elections 2026.
We noticed hoardings in the video that read, “आगाई पटेल हाॅस्पिटल”, “महाराष्ट्र” (“Aghai Patel Hospital”, “Maharashtra”).

Taking this clue, we conducted a relevant keyword search and found the location of this clinic. The clinic is located on Mondha Road, Jintur, Maharashtra.

This makes it clear that the viral video is old and from Maharashtra.
Conclusion
From our investigation, we can say that the claim is misleading. The viral video of Muslim people dancing on the road is not related to the recent election results in Godhra. This is an old video from Maharashtra.
