We started our investigation by taking screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to another version of the viral video on a YouTube channel, where we noticed the Google Gemini logo.
This suggests that the video may have been generated by AI.
According to Google Gemini, “This video was generated or edited using Google AI.
The tool detected a digital watermark in the video’s visuals between 0:00 and 0:10. This type of imperceptible watermark is specifically designed to identify AI-generated or modified content without altering what you see or hear.”
We used several AI Detection tools, which suggested that the video was AI-generated.
Conclusion
From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The viral video of honeybees swarming a motorcycle is AI-generated.
