nobody saw this plot twist coming. 😳
A TMC worker claimed she was beaten by BJP
workers. When her bandage was removed on
camera, there was ZERO injury found.
What happened next left the entire country
shocked. 💀
This is what post-poll violence drama in

However, upon investigation, we discovered that the claim was false. The viral video is not from West Bengal. Here’s the fact check.
Fact Check
We started our investigation by taking screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to a YouTube channel “Maurya Dhwaj Express” where the viral video was uploaded on May 6, 2026.

According to the report, this is an old video from SKMCH (Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital) Muzaffarpur. A clash erupted between attendants of a patient and the nursing staff of the hospital SKMCH. According to Maurya Dhwaj Express, the video was taken by a reporter of Maurya Dhwaj Express and it has no political angle.
Further investigation led us to another video on the Facebook page of Maurya Dhwaj Express on April 28, 2026.

The video shows an A-grade staff nurse of SKMCH, Mr Rahman, describing an incident involving a patient’s attendants and the nursing staff. Following the clash, the nursing staff declared a strike. He said that a patient’s female attendant attacked the nursing staff. Moreover, the patient’s attendant started beating the cleaner and trolley staff as well, Mr Rahman alleged. In this video, we noticed the woman in the viral video with a bandage on her head. The woman was a member of the cleaning staff who was allegedly beaten by the patient’s attendant.
A comparison between the screenshots from the viral video and the Maurya Dhwaj Express video can be seen below.

We found the viral video uploaded on a journalist’s profile (Journalist Prem) on May 4, 2026.

For further information, we tried to contact the journalist “Prem”. We will update here whenever we get a response.
We found other reports that can be seen here and here.
This makes it clear that the viral video is old and unrelated to the West Bengal Assembly Elections.
Conclusion
From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The viral video doesn’t show a TMC worker faking a head injury. This is an old video from Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital, Muzaffarpur, Bihar
