However, as we investigated, we came to know that the video was old and from Moscow, Russia. Here's the fact check.

Fact Check

We started our investigation by taking some screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to a video report published on Daily Motion in 2023. The video contains several clips and the viral video can be seen at the very beginning. According to the report the incident took place on 30 July 2023 in Moscow, Russia.

Moving forward, we found a video report on the YouTube channel NBC News. The video report carried the viral footage and described it to be the Ukranian drone attack on Moscow, Russia. The description of the video reads, "Drones damaged buildings in Moscow over the weekend. Russia’s military said it shot down three drones, and authorities briefly suspended flights at a nearby airport. NBC News’ Matt Bradley has the latest".

Further, using relevant keywords, we found a news report published on BBC News on 30 July 2023. The viral video was attached to the report. According to the report, "Russia's defence ministry has said three Ukrainian drones were downed on Sunday, with two crashing into offices. Footage of an explosion near a Moscow building on Sunday was captured by nearby witnesses, and on a car's dashcam. One person has been injured, Russia's state news agency Tass reports. Russia accused Ukraine of being behind the attack and says one drone was shot down over the Odintsovo district, west of the city centre, and two others were neutralised but crashed into offices. Ukrainian officials have not acknowledged the incident".

However, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned war is coming back to Russia after a drone attack on the capital Moscow. Zelensky said attacks on Russian territory were an "inevitable, natural and absolutely fair process" of the war between the two countries.

A video report from Reuters can be seen below.

From this, it's clear that the viral video is old and from Moscow. This has no link to the recent Iranian missile attack on Israel.

Conclusion

From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The video is from Moscow in 2023. This has no link to the recent Iranian missile attack on Israel.
