We started our investigation with a reverse image search on Google, and the results led us to a similar video uploaded on a Bangladeshi YouTube account on 30 April.

Upon further search we found several other videos featuring the woman from the viral video dancing on the same stage on this YouTube channel. All of these videos referred to her as Megha Queen in their descriptions.

In another video, a poster is seen behind the stage, with ‘Baisakhi Mela’ written in Bengali with a photo of Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Tariq Rahman. This raised the suspicion that the video was from Bangladesh.

Using these hints, we conducted further searches and found a video of this event, posted on Megha Queen’s Facebook page on 15 April 2026. The banner in the background of the video clearly indicates that it is from a cultural program at the Baisakhi Mela held in Bogura, Bangladesh. Baisakhi was celebrated in Bangladesh on April 14, the eve of the Bengali New Year.

Based on this evidence, we can understand that this video is actually of a Bangladeshi dancer named Megha Queen and has no connection to India.

Conclusion

Fact Crescendo found the claim made along with the video to be Misleading. The woman dancing in the video is not TMC MP Saayoni Ghosh; she is a Bangladeshi dancer named Megha Queen.
