Video Of The Italian Aerobatic Team Going Viral As IAF Air Show In Dubai.

A video of an air show went viral on social media, claiming it to be an Indian Air Force manoeuvre at the Dubai Air Show recently.

However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim was false. The viral video doesn’t show an IAF air show in Dubai. Here’s the fact check.

Fact Check 

We started our investigation by taking screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search.

This led us to the Reddit website where the viral video was uploaded on 30 June 2025. The caption of the video read, “The Jesolo air show performed by the National Aerobatic Team of Italy”

The Dubai Air Show in 2025 was held from 17 November to 21 November. This makes it clear that the viral video predates the recent Dubai Air Show.

Taking a clue from the Reddit video, we conducted a relevant keyword search. This led us to a YouTube channel where we found a longer version of the viral video. The caption of the video read, “Frecce Tricolori Jesolo Air Show 2025”

From the timestamp 15:23, a clip similar to the viral video can be seen.

The Frecce Tricolori is the aerobatic demonstration team of the Italian Air Force, officially known as the 313° Gruppo Addestramento Acrobatico.

The Frecce Tricolori performed at the Jesolo Air Show 2025 on Saturday, 28 June, 2025.

Moreover, the fighter jets shown in the viral video are different from the Tejas and Surya Kiran fighter jets. A comparison between the jets in the viral video and Tejas, Surya Kiran can be seen below.

This makes it clear that the video does not show the IAF Air Show in Dubai.

Conclusion 

From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The viral video doesn’t show the IAF manoeuvre at the Dubai Air Show. The video shows the Italian Aerobatic Team, Frecce Tricolori, manoeuvring at the Jesolo Air Show in June 2025.
