Recently, a video of a class 9 student allegedly participating in the Cockroach Janta Party’s protest in Jantar Mantar went viral on social media. In the video, the reporter asked the student why she came. She mentioned that due to the war between Israel and America. Sharing the video on X, a user wrote, “Cockroach Shocker: Madam Cockroach has arrived in Delhi to stop the war between America, Israel, and Iran.”
However, upon investigation, we discovered that the claim was false. The viral video is unrelated to the CJP protest and is old. Here’s the fact check.
Fact Check
We started our investigation by conducting a reverse image search and a relevant keyword search. This led us to a YouTube channel where a longer version of the viral video was uploaded on March 20, 2026.
This makes it clear that the viral video predates the formation of the CJP.
We noticed “Political Adda” was written on the microphone of the journalist. Taking this clue, we conducted a relevant keyword search that led us to the Instagram handle of Political Adda, where the video was uploaded on March 6, 2026.
According to the caption, the protest was against the war between Israel and Iran.
The same video was uploaded on the Facebook Page of Political Adda on March 6, 2026.
This makes it clear that the viral video is old and unrelated to the CJP protest.
Conclusion
From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The viral video doesn’t show a Class 9 student participating in the Cockroach Janta Party’s protest in Jantar Mantar. The video predates the formation of the Cockroach Janta Party.
