There, he has clearly stated that their mother is not sick and he has stated and urged that this kind of news should not be spread.
In parallel, we also received several news reports in this regard, referring to Vikas Kohli's clarification that Virat Kohli's mother is not ill. According to Hindustan Times, “ Mr. Virat Kohli has requested the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to be withdrawn from the first two Tests of the upcoming IDFC First Bank Test series against England, citing personal reasons."
