Viral video is from an earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria on February 2023.

A 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck central Japan on 1 January 2024 afternoon, collapsing buildings, causing fires and triggering tsunami alerts as far away as eastern Russia, prompting orders for residents to evacuate affected coastal areas of Japan. The quake triggered waves of about 1m along Japan’s west coast and neighbouring South Korea with authorities saying larger waves could follow.

Amid this, a video that shows inside of a hospital with few panicked nurses running to save a child during an earthquake has gone viral on social media claiming to be from the recent Earthquake in the Japan. Caption of the video states, “Watch as a 7.6 magnitude earthquake on a Richter scale hits a hospital in Japan sending the nurses In a panic. Keep the people of Japan safe and in your prayers”.

Fact Check-

We conducted a reverse image search on Google with the key frames of the viral video to find the original source. As a result, we found the same Youtube video was featured in TRT Channel captioned it as “Nurse rushes to rescue children as massive earthquake hits”.
