An image of a road cut off due to rain is being shared on social media platforms as depiction of the state of roads in Congress ruled Telangana.

However, when we fact-checked the photo we found that the road is not in Telangana but neighbouring Andhra Pradesh.

Viral Photo

An X (formerly Twitter) user named Mr. Sinha shared a photo of a road split in half due to floodwaters, claiming it was in Telangana. He also compared the roads in Telangana to those in Gujarat, expressing frustration that news about the poor condition of roads in Gujarat, governed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is widely reported, while similar issues in Telangana, governed by the Congress party, are overlooked.
