The viral is old and not related to the ongoing Prayagraj Maha Kumbh
A video of a massive blaze consuming vehicles parked on the street has gone viral on social media with the claim that it shows recent visuals from the ongoing Prayagraj Maha Kumbh Mela.
The caption of the post states, Breaking Another Major Fire Breakout at Mahakumbh Bustand. Something has got to be seriously wrong this time. FEAR THE WRATH OF GODS #MahakumbhMelaFireAccident
Let’s check the truth
Fact Check-
We started our investigation by conducting a keyword search on Google and the results led us to an Instagram post uploaded on 14 July 2020 sharing a longer version of the viral video, stating that there was a massive fire on the Cairo-Ismailia highway. The caption states, “#Egypt: A fire occurred at a petroleum material pipeline on the Ismailia Desert Road in Cairo, nearly 15 fire engines managed to control the fire. At least 12 people were injured, according to the country’s health ministry”.
Moving forward, we found a video report on YouTube by Global News on 15 July, 2020 with a caption, “Cars set ablaze after massive fire breaks out along pipeline in Egypt”. The description part states, “ A massive fire broke out in Egypt’s Shuqair-Mostorod crude oil pipeline on Tuesday, injuring at least 12 people, the health ministry said. “Videos circulating on social media showed thick plumes of smoke and burning cars along the side of the road. The pipeline runs along a major highway on the outskirts of Cairo. A spark caused by cars driving along the road set crude oil leaking from the pipe on fire, a petroleum ministry statement said” .

Taking account of these evidences, we can understand that the viral video is not from the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela.
Conclusion-
Fact crescendo found the claim made along with the viral video to be false. The viral video shows a massive fire breaking out in Cairo, Egypt and it dates back to 2020.
