India has strongly condemned the severe police brutality and military crackdown by Pakistani security forces against peaceful civilian demonstrators in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). On 9 June, 2026, violent confrontations between local residents and approximately 14,000 deployed Pakistani military and paramilitary personnel reached a boiling point. Reports confirm that at least 30 people were killed and over 200 injured.
Amid these ongoing tensions, a video showing a freight train transporting army tanks is going viral on social media with the claim that the Pakistan Army is deploying its tanks on the Indian border sector.

We started our investigation with a reverse image search on Google with the keyframes from the viral video, and the results led us to a Facebook post of December 2025. The caption in Sindhi translates as “Preparations for a major operation in Rawanti Kachi: 2 Colonels, 4 Majors, a DIG, 5 SSPs, 3,000 Rangers and police personnel will participate in the operation.
Rawanti is a well-known town and riverine (katcha) area located in the Ubauro taluka of the Ghotki District in Sindh, Pakistan. The thick riverine forests and difficult terrain have historically been used as hideouts by regional bandit groups (locally known as dacoits). The Sindh Police and security forces regularly launch targeted law enforcement operations in these areas to maintain security.
Moving forward, we found that other Facebook users also shared the same video in December 2025. This indicates that the video is from 2025.
Based on this evidence, we can understand that the viral video is unrelated to the recent tension that erupted in PoK.
