
On 27 March 2026, Reuters reported that Iran-linked hackers had broken into FBI Director Kash Patel’s personal email inbox, publishing photographs of the director and other documents to the Internet. Against this backdrop, a video of a man dancing to a Hindi song went viral on social media. Sharing the video, users claimed that it is part of the leaked materials of Kash Patel.

However, upon investigation, we discovered that the claim was false. The viral video has been available on the internet since at least 2020. Here’s the fact check.
Fact Check
We started our investigation by taking screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to a YouTube channel where the viral video was uploaded on March 31, 2021.

The description of the video read, “This is a viral video, so please enjoy it.”
Moving forward, we found the video uploaded on another YouTube channel on July 25, 2020.

The description mentioned it as a viral video.
The same video was uploaded on a Facebook page on July 28, 2020.
This makes it clear that the viral video has been available on the internet since at least 2020.
Conclusion
From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The viral video is not a part of the leaked materials of Kash Patel. The video has been available on the internet since at least 2020.
