We started our investigation by taking screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to a Facebook page where the viral video was uploaded on January 31, 2026.

Moreover, we found a news report that contained a photo of people boarding a ship. The ship is similar to the one in the viral video. This kind of Ship (Ferry) is used in the Philippines.
