Recently a video of Pakistan’s former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bilawal Bhutto, went viral on social media. The video contains two different clips. In the first part of the video, Bilawal Bhutto can be heard saying, “kaun raat ke andhere mein humle karte hain…hum toh hindustan ke wazeer e azam ke saamne, uske sansad mein humare propaganda bulwa sakte hain…kaun raat ke andhere mein humle karte hain…humare log unke sansad mein baithe hai”( Who attacks in the dark of night…we can run our propaganda in front of India’s Prime Minister in their parliament…who attacks in the dark of night…our people are sitting in their parliament). The second part of the video shows Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi’s recent speech in the parliament on Operation Sindoor. Sharing the video, users claimed that Bilawal Bhutto talked about Gaurav Gogoi in his speech.

However, as we investigated, we came to know that the viral video has been digitally manipulated. Here’s the fact check.
Fact Check
We started our investigation by conducting a relevant keyword search. This led us to a video uploaded on the YouTube channel National Assembly of Pakistan on 7 May 2025. In the video, Bilawal Bhutto can be heard saying, “Kaun raat ke andhere mein humle karte hai…chor raat ke andhere mein humle karte hain…buzdil raat ke andhere mein humle karte hain…agar unmein himmat hota, toh wo din mein aake ailaane jang karte…wo humare sipahiyo ke aamne saamne karte…Humara afwaz ka aamne saamne karte…magar in buzdilon ne raat ke andheron mein nihatte bacche ko nishane banaye hain…”
Nowhere in his speech did he say that “our people are sitting in their parliament and we can run our propaganda there”.
We found another video on the YouTube channel PTV Parliament streamed on 7 May 2025. From the timestamp 40:03, Bilawal Bhutto starts his speech. But nowhere in his speech did he say that “our people are sitting in their parliament and we can run our propaganda there”.
A comparison between the viral video and the original video can be seen below. This makes it clear that the viral video has been edited.
Conclusion
From our investigation, we can say that the viral video has been altered. In the original video, Bilawal Bhutto didn’t say that Pakistan’s people are sitting in India’s parliament and they can run their (Pakistan’s) propaganda in the Indian parliament. The video has been digitally manipulated.
