
After the recent Indian airstrike on Pakistan, a video went viral on social media which shows tanks firing on a fighter plane. Sharing the video, users claimed that the video shows the war between India and Pakistan.

However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim was false. The viral video is not a real one. It’s a simulation game called Arma 3. Here’s the fact check.
Fact Check
We started our investigation by taking some screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to a YouTube channel where a longer version of the viral video was uploaded on 1 January 2021. The caption of the video read, “A-10 Warthog vs Anti-Air Tank – Missiles and Tracers firing – GAU-8 Avenger – ArmA 3 Simulation”
We found a similar video on the same YouTube channel uploaded on 15 July 2023 with the caption, “A-10 Warthog Shot Down by Anti-Air Tank firing Missile – Tracer – Military Simulation – ArmA 3”
A similar video uploaded on another YouTube channel on 20 November 2022 can be seen below. According to the caption, the video shows a game of Arma 3.
This makes it clear that the viral video shows a simulation game called Arma 3.
Conclusion
From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The viral video doesn’t show a clip of the war between India and Pakistan. In fact, the video is not real. It’s a simulation game video called Arma 3.
