Tata did not introduce the new model of Nano car. The viral post is fake.
The Tata Nano, a car by Tata Motors is well known for its compact size and affordability. A social media post is now going viral claiming that Tata Motors have come up with a new model of Tata Nano car. In the viral image a green car with elegant design can be seen.
However, Fact Crescendo found the claim to be false. This is not an image of Tata Nano. This car is called Seagull by a Chinese based company.
Fact Check-
A Google Reverse Image Search led us to a similar image published on Rushlane website on 17 August 2023. According to the information, this is a model of Seagull car manufactured by a Chinese company BYD.
A YouTube video showed a close look of the car. In the video, we can see the same model of the car. It can be clearly seen that the car in this video resembles the car in the viral post. We found the name of the car in the video as BYD.
You will notice that in the viral photo, the BYD company logo has been removed and the Tata company logo has been placed on the car.
Conclusion:
Fact Crescendo found the claim to be false. The viral image is not of the new model of Tata Nano car. This is a car by a Chinese company BYD named as Seagull Electric Car.
