Is this a video of the Pune car accident accused doing rap? Know the truth.
After the 17-year-old accused of the Pune Porsche car accident was sent to a juvenile center, a video is going viral on social media. In this video, a young man is seen rapping. It is being claimed with the video that after getting bail, the minor accused has made a rap song mocking the judiciary.
In the viral video, the boy can be heard singing, “kuch sunoge, karke baitha main nashe in my porsche, saamne aaya couple mere aab woh hai niche. Sound so cliche, sorry gaadi chadh gayi aap pe, 17 ki umar paisa khoob hai mere baap pe, ek din main mil gayi mujhe bail, fir se duikhaunga sadak pe khel”
Sharing the video, the user wrote, “Judiciary asked Vedant Agarwal to write an essay after the Pune Porsche accident. And in this Essay, he wrote this rap. Police is confirming whether it is his video”

Fact Check-
A relevant keyword search led us to a Facebook post related to the viral video. The Facebook (Archive) user shared the post on 23 May 2024 with a caption in Marathi saying that the video is of an Instagram influencer Aryan aka Libranite X cringistan.
After this, we searched for the Libranite X Cringistaan account on Instagram. On his account, he wrote the name as Aryan. According to the information, this boy is a resident of Delhi and raps. The face of the boy rapping and the picture of the boy seen on the Insta account are very similar.
Aryan has posted a post refuting the viral claim. He has said that this video is his and he is not the minor accused in the Pune hit and run case.
Sharing the post, Aryan has written- I have been accused of misbehaving on the internet. Everyone does this, a warning will be enough, I request Pune Cyber Station to withdraw the case. Let me and my family live, I am just a content creator.

According to a report published in Free Press Journal on 23 May 2024, Crime Branch ACP Sunil Tambe said that the video going viral in the name of the minor boy involved in the Porsche accident is not his. The video going viral on social media is fake.
According to the report, the minor accused was sent to a juvenile correctional centre on June 5. The claim was also confirmed in a video of the accused's mother shared by Marathi news outlet Sakal, in which she clarified that the viral rap video was not made by her son.
