One individual is seen wearing a garland made of slippers. The words written on the viral video is translated as Garlands of torn clothes and shoes are being paraded on the streets of Myanmar.

Fact Check-

By performing a reverse image search on Google with the key frames of the viral video, we were directed to a Scroll report titled "After 'India Out' protests, Maldives government issues condemnation." The report detailed an anti-India demonstration in the Maldives on 29 June, 2023, where protestors wore masks resembling PM Narendra Modi and displayed banners reading “India Out”.

According to the report, “In its statement, the Maldivian foreign ministry blamed the country’s Opposition parties for the protests. The demonstration did not only provoke hatred but also promote hostility with the objective of tarnishing the country’s long-standing cordial ties with India,”

So the viral video shows protesters in the Maldives mocking PM Modi; however, these visuals portray an earlier protest and are unrelated to Myanmar.

Upon further search, we found a Hindustan Times YouTube video from July 2023 featured visuals from the viral video, reporting that the Maldivian government initiated damage control following the "India Out" campaign by the country's opposition during Eid-Al-Adha.
