In one of these videos, men of different ages were seen extending their hands holding disposable glasses and dishes through the open windows of the car as a man filled them at random with alcohol. Some users are sharing this video by linking it to the recent farmers' movement.

The caption of the video states, “The farmers are yearning for a single drop of alcohol. This is how the govt is suppressing the farmers protest.. Where are we heading as a nation? #farmerprotests2024”

Fact Check-

For more information more about the video, we performed a reverse image search on Google and discovered that the video is old. So it became clear that this video has been circulating on the internet since April 2020.

In further search we also found this video on YouTube channel R PUNJABI. It has been uploaded on 11 April 2020.

It should be noted that the 2020–2021 Indian farmers’ protest was a protest against three farm acts that were passed by the Parliament of India in September 2020. Which began in Delhi on November 26, 2020, have been called by some observers as the “largest and longest peasants’ struggle in the history of modern India”. At present, farmers started their march to Delhi on 13 February .

This makes it clear that the viral video has been present on the internet for almost four years and it neither had any connection with the previous farmers' movement nor any connection with this movement.

So it is clear that the incident seen in this video has nothing to do with the current farmers' strike. The details of the incident seen in the viral video are not available.
