In Punjab, a brother named Lovepreet killed the accused who had raped his minor sister last month.

In the wake of this incident, a video of a young boy being produced in court is going viral.

It is being claimed that the boy in the video is Lovepreet and is smiling with satisfaction after avenging his sister's rape.

While sharing the viral video, users write in the caption, “Lovepreet, who killed his sister's rapist after the man was released on bail, is seen smiling.”

According to a news article published by Hindustan Times on August 31, a youth named Lovepreet of Majhadpur village in Kapurthala district of Punjab had killed a person named Onkar Singh (Rest. Bishanpur Jattan) with sharp weapons on August 28.

Deceased Omkar Singh had raped Lovepreet's minor sister nine years ago. After this incident, the rape victim died a few months later. Lovepreet's father also died due to this shock.

Omkar Singh was sentenced to jail for 10 years. After his release during Corona, Lovepreet along with his friends killed Omkar Singh.

On August 30, Kapurthala Police had shared the complete information regarding this incident on Twitter.

Senior Superintendent of Police Vatsala Gupta said that “Lovepreet and his friend were detained by the police on August 30."

A reverse image search revealed that the boy in the video is a resident of Delhi and has an Instagram account with the name 'Aadu Defaulter'.

That means this video was available on social media in the past 5 months before Omkar Singh's murder.
