A video of a woman speaking to the media after winning a medal has gone viral on social media, with a claim that she is Rasha Thadani, the daughter of actress Raveena Tandon, and that she won the 80+ kg category at the 2025 Boxing Cup finals.
The caption of the viral post states, “Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani, has clinched the Gold medal in the 80+ kg category at the World Boxing Cup Finals 2025.
Fact Check-
We started our investigation with a reverse image search on Google and the results led us to a Tweet by ANI, shared on 16 September, 2025. As per the post, the video shows an interview of boxer Nupur Sheoran after she won a silver medal in the 2025 World Boxing Championship.
Moving forward, we found an Instagram post, that too had shared the same video. It identified the woman in the video as Nupur Sheoran, the winner of the 2025 World Boxing Cup Finals.
On 20 November 2025, Nupur Sheoran defeated Uzbekistan’s Sotimboeva Oltinoy 5-0 in the Women’s 80+ kg category to clinch the gold medal.
Further, we looked into Rasha Thadani, the daughter of Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon. According to reports, she has a first-dan Taekwondo rank and practices martial arts, but there is no evidence that she is a professional boxer.

So, taking account of all these evidences, we can understand that the woman in the viral video is Nupur Sheoran, after she won a silver medal in the 2025 World Boxing Championship.
