Currently, a video is going viral in social media in which a person is dancing to the song ‘Tauba Tauba’ from Vicky Kaushal’s film ‘Bad News’. The post is being shared claiming that the person dancing is the former Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan.
However, Fact Crescendo found the claim to be false. The person dancing in the video is a choreographer named Kiran Jopale and not Muttiah Muralitharan.

A Google Reverse Image Search on a keyframe led us to the same video shared on an Instagram account on 22 July 2024. This verified Instagram account belongs to a choreographer named Kiran J. The caption reads, “Can’t get over with this vibe. Thank so much bangalore for such a memorable day lots of love”
Choreographer Kiran J also uploaded this video on his YouTube channel which you can see below.
Further, we found that Kiran Jopale is a well-known choreographer, dancer and social media celebrity. He appeared onTedx Talks and his video was uploaded on YouTube four years ago in which he spoke about his life.
Conclusion:
Fact Crescendo found the claim to be false. The person dancing in the video is a choreographer named Kiran Jopale and not Muttiah Muralitharan.
