We began our investigation with a reverse image search on Google, and the results led us to a similar video uploaded on the YouTube account of The Sun under the caption “Horror moment massive toxic blaze tears through plastics factory in Indonesia.”

This indicates that the video is not from israel.

Using these hints, we conducted further searches and found several media reports regarding this incident. A massive fire broke out on 29 March 2026, at a plastic factory in Indonesia. 

As per reports, “A large fire broke out at a plastic factory in Wanaherang, Gunung Putri, Bogor Regency, West Java, on 29 March, 2026 sending thick black smoke into the sky as flames rapidly consumed the facility.” The factory, which processes plastic materials, was reported by local residents around dusk, prompting a swift response from emergency services. Firefighters deployed multiple units to contain the blaze, which continued into the night.

So, taking account of all this evidence, we can understand that the Indonesian factory fire video was falsely shared as an Iranian strike on Israel.
