However, upon investigation, we discovered that the claim was false. The viral video is old and unrelated to the ongoing tensions in the Middle East. Here’s the fact check.
Fact Check
We started our investigation by taking screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to a report published in the Hindustan Times on April 16, 2024, that contained a photo similar to the screenshots from the viral video.

According to the report, “Iranian state TV recently shared footage it claimed revealed the moment “Israelis panicked” while they were attacked with missiles and drones. But in reality, the footage only showed a group of crazed Louis Tomlinson fans.”
This makes it clear that the viral video is old.
A report published in the Jerusalem Post on April 14, 2024, read, “A video surfaced on X, formerly known as Twitter, early Sunday morning of Israelis “panicking” from the Iranian missile and drone attack.
The video turned out to be fake and from an unrelated incident, in which fans of British singer Louis Tomlinson congregated near the Four Seasons Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina last week.”
Taking this clue, we conducted a relevant keyword search. This led us to a Tweet on April 14, 2024 refuting the claim.

The tweet read, “This video, posted by Jackson Hinkle and others and viewed nearly 5 million times, claims to show “Israelis panicking” as Iran’s missiles and drones reach Israel.
in fact, it shows Louis Tomlinson fans near Four Seasons Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina last week; verified by

We geolocated the place in the viral video which can be seen below.

This makes it clear that the viral video is old and unrelated to the ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
