Against this backdrop, a video of a massive crowd dancing on the streets with saffron flags went viral on social media. Sharing the video, users claimed that it shows Hindus in Uttam Nagar celebrating Holi on the day of Eid.

However, upon investigation, we discovered that the video is old and unrelated to Uttam Nagar. Here’s the fact check.

We started our investigation by taking screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to a longer version of the video uploaded on an Instagram handle on September 23, 2024.
The video shows a DJ playing music and the crowd dancing.
We found another similar video on the same Instagram handle uploaded on October 2, 2023.
According to the caption, the video is from Raichur.
According to the Bio, the Instagram handle belongs to DJ Sonu of Karnataka.
For further information, we contacted the Instagram handle. We will update it here whenever we get a response.
This makes it clear that the video is old and it has been available on the internet since at least October 2023.
Conclusion
From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The viral video doesn’t show the Hindus in Uttam Nagar celebrating Holi on the day of Eid on March 21, 2026. The video is old and has been available on the internet since at least October 2023.
