The US has denied this, stating the carrier is still active in Operation Epic Fury. Reports indicate an Iranian vessel approached the carrier too closely, prompting American forces to open fire, but it is uncertain if the vessel was struck.
Against this backdrop, a video is going viral on social media with a claim that it depicts an Iranian attack on the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln. The 26 seconds video is being shared, claiming that a leaked clip has surfaced online showing an attack on USS Abraham Lincoln.
