Amid these developments, a video of the actor praising Salman Khan has gone viral on social media with the claim that it shows Rajpal Yadav thanking Salman Khan after being released in the ongoing ₹9-crore cheque-bounce case.

The caption of the post states, “After coming out of jail, Rajpal Yadav expressed heartfelt gratitude to Salman Khan for standing by him. “Salman bhai is like a brother to me. In our industry, there are very few people like him — he always helps others”.

We started our investigation by conducting a reverse image search on Google and the results led us to a similar video uploaded on YouTube by the entertainment channel Movie Adda on 9 April 2018. In that video, Rajpal Yadav was responding to a question about Salman Khan’s bail in the Black Buck case, where he described Khan as an elder brother who always helps others.

This indicates that the video is old and does not show Yadav thanking Salman Khan after his release in the ongoing Rs 9 crore cheque-bounce case.

According to media reports, actors such as Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan offered financial support to Rajpal Yadav. However, there are not any recent claims or videos of Yadav thanking Salman Khan or any other celebrity in connection with the ongoing case. So, we can understand that the viral video is unrelated and dates back to 2018.
