A Google reverse image search using the key frames from the viral video led us to a YouTube video carrying the same visuals, titled ‘Sofia Raffaeli ITA Ball Final – World Championships 2023 Valencia’. It was uploaded in August 2023.
Moving forward we found the same visuals on the YouTube channel of World Gymnastics channel. The video is titled “Hoop & Ball Finals – Rhythmic Gymnastics Individuals at the 2023 World Championships in Valencia”. At the timestamp of 22.26-minute in the video, the gymnast in the viral video appears on the performance arena. She is identified as Sofia Raffaeli.
The performance, costume, and setting all indicate that the viral video features the same gymnast from the same event. This clarifies that the viral video features Italian gymnast Sofia Raffaeli, not Indian gymnast Shubhshree More. Raffaeli won four medals at the 2023 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships.
A keyword search revealed that Shubhshree Udaysingh More participated in the 2023 FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics Junior World Championships in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, as listed on the World Gymnastics website.
