This is an old video and it has no connection to Nicolas Maduro’s arrest.

On 3 January, 2026, the United States military launched an invasion of Venezuela, capturing and extrajudicially abducting President Nicolás Maduro along with his wife, Cilia Flores. Against this backdrop, A video of a massive crowd marching along a road while carrying the Venezuelan flag is going viral on social media with the claim that it depicts Venezuelans protesting against that.
Let’s check the truth
Fact Check-
We started our investigation by running a Google reverse image search and we found a similar video uploaded on an X handle on 15 November 2025 and it was a TikTok video.

Since TikTok is banned in India, we found the TikTok video trough VPN and found that it is a longer version of the viral video.

This video was uploaded on 16 November, 2025 on TikTok, and this indicates that the video is old and not related to the recent crisis in Venezuela. The video was captioned in Spanish as a scene from a Venezuelan Youth March with Nicolás Maduro. In addition, in one scene in this video we can see Nicolas Maduro also.

By closely analysing the video, we noticed a banner that read, “i LA ZUVENTUD”. Using that hint we conducted further searches and found a report carrying the screenshot of the viral scene . The report was published on 14 November, according to the report, it is a scene from a rally in support of the government in Venezuela on 13 November 2025.

Other videos somewhat similar to the viral video can be seen here and here. This makes it clear that the viral video is old. The US arrested Nicolas Maduro on 3 January, 2026. Therefore, this footage has nothing to do with Maduro’s arrest.
Conclusion-
Fact Crescendo found the claim made along with the viral video to be Misleading. This is an old video and it has no connection to Nicolas Maduro’s arrest.
