Misinformation On The Beef Export Companies In India Is Going Viral.

Recently, a social media post claiming that the top beef export companies in India are owned by Hindus, went viral. The companies mentioned in the viral post are- 

1. Al-Kabeer Exports – Shatish Sabharwal 

2. Arabian Exports – Sunil Kapoor 

3. Al-Noor Exports – Sunil Sud and Ajay Sud 

4. M.K.R Exports – Madan Abot

5. P.M.L Industries – Shree A.S Bindra

However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim was misleading. Here’s the fact check.

Fact Check 

We began our investigation by conducting a relevant keyword search to identify the names of the Top beef export companies in India. This led us to a few reports in 2025 that listed the Top 10 beef export companies in India. 

Nowhere in these lists did we find the names of the companies as claimed in the viral post.

Moving forward, we searched for the companies listed in the viral post.

Al-Kabeer Exports 

A relevant keyword search led us to the official website of Al Kabeer Exports. According to the website, the name of the director of the company is Mr Ghulamuddin M. Shaikh. We found a clarification on the website which read, “AL KABEER Exports Pvt. Ltd., the Indian company which exports MUTTON AND BEEF from India, is a MUSLIM company. There is an ongoing anti-muslim planned movement to defame famous muslim personalities and muslim owned companies.Al -Kabeer DOESN’T SLAUGHTERS COWS,BULLS AND BULLOCKS /.It just slaughters buffaloes in accordance with local statutes and government of India export policy.All pictures of inhuman slaughter of animals and lies attributed to Al Kabeer on social media, is a planned conspiracy to defame a muslim company. Al Kabeer meat is 100% Halal and in accordance with strict Shariah guidelines.Alhamdulillah,Al kabeer Halal meat is exported to 20 countries all over the world,including the Gulf nations. Plz share this video with all groups to clear confusions and counter the anti-muslim campaign by a section of the society.”

According to data published in the Economic Times, Ghulamuddin M Shaikh was appointed as the director of Al-Kabeer Exports on 25 January 1979, it’s the year Al-Kabeer Exports was founded. Shatish Sabharwal was appointed as the director on 19 October 1981.

It’s clear from the website that Al-Kabeer Exports is a Muslim-owned company. However, in the later years, non-Muslims were included in the board of directors.

Arabian Exports 

Conducting a relevant keyword search, we found information on a company named Arabian Exports, but we did not find any director named Sunil Kapoor. 

According to another website, the company Arabian Exports Pvt Ltd having CIN U51900MH1978PTC020506, has 3 directors/key management personnel ASHOK NARANG, VIKAS MARUTI SHINDE, VIRNATH NAGNATH KUDMULE. 

ARABIAN EXPORTS PRIVATE LIMITED’s last Annual General Meeting(AGM) was held on 29th September, 2012, and the company last updated its financials on 31st March, 2012.

Therefore, the data in the viral post is misleading.

Al Noor Exports 

Conducting a relevant keyword search, we found that Al Noor Exports was established in 1992 as a partnership firm by Mr Sunil Sood and Mr Ajay Sood, ANE processes and exports buffalo meat and meat products. It has two plants, one each in Muzaffarnagar and Meerut, in Uttar Pradesh. 

According to a report published in the Economic Times, Al-Noor Exports is one of the oldest exporters of frozen buffalo meat in the world. It mentioned Sunil Sud as a partner at Al-Noor Exports.

M.K.R Exports

Conducting a relevant keyword search, we found the website of M.K.R Exports (M.K.R Frozen Food Exports Pvt Ltd). MKR Frozen Food Exports Private Limited is a Non-Govt company, incorporated on 13 Jun, 1979. It’s a private unlisted company and is classified as ‘company limited by shares’. The company produces Buffalo meat, buffalo jerky, boneless buffalo meat, frozen and fresh buffalo jerky. 

MKR Frozen Food Exports Private Limited is majorly in Business Services business from last 46 years and currently, company operations are active. Current board members & directors are SUNNY ABBOTT, NAVDEEP ABBOTT, MADAN ABBOTT and JANAK ABBOTT .

This makes it clear that the company deals with buffalo meat.

P.M.L Industries 

Conducting a relevant keyword search, we found a report published in the Economic Times which read, “PML Industries Limited is a Non-govt company, incorporated on 15 Jun, 1990. It’s a public unlisted company and is classified as’company limited by shares’.

Company’s authorized capital stands at Rs 2500.0 lakhs and has 77.9051% paid-up capital which is Rs 1947.63 lakhs. PML Industries Limited last annual general meet (AGM) happened on 30 Sep, 2013. The company last updated its financials on 31 Mar, 2013 as per Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).

PML Industries Limited is majorly in Manufacturing (Food stuffs) business from last 35 years and currently, company operations are under liquidation. Current board members & directors are APJIT SINGH BINDRA, GURDIP SINGH GHUMAN and CHARANJIT SINGH PANAG .

Company is registered in the Chandigarh (Chandigarh) Registrar’s Office. PML Industries Limited registered address is SCO 62 63 1ST FLOORSECTOR 34 A CHANDIGARH UT Chandigarh CH 000000 IN.”

Conclusion

From our investigation, we can say that the claim is misleading. The companies listed in the viral post are not the top beef exporters in India. Moreover, the names of the owners of Al-Kabeer Exports and Arabian Exports are wrongly cited.
