Fact Check-

We started the investigation with a reverse image search on Google and the results led us to multiple social media posts and these posts states that the video shows a youth demonstration in Jaipur, organised to seek justice for the families of children killed in the Jhalawar school tragedy. The caption of the below post reads, “Naresh Meena is on a hunger strike at SMS Hospital. A massive torchlight procession was led by his son, Anirudh, to pay tribute to the children who died in the Jhalawar-Piplodi accident”.

Upon further search, we came across a news report from NDTV. According to this news, Naresh Meena has been on a hunger strike for 14 days demanding compensation of Rs 50 lakh each to the relatives of the children who died in the roof collapse of a school in Jhalawar, Rajasthan in July. A torch rally was organized in Jaipur under the leadership of his son in support of Naresh Meena. The route of this rally was reported in the news as Gujjar ki Thadi from Triveni Nagar Chouraha in Jaipur. When we checked this route on Google Maps, we found the buildings seen in the video. We can see the Google Street View of the place seen in the video below.

We can also see the buildings seen in the video on Street View. In the comparison below, we can see the Kamla Tower seen in the video and the Lenskart showroom.

While looking for more information, we found a post about this viral video on Uttar Pradesh Police’s X account. This same video was shared on social media with a false claim linked to Uttar Pradesh Police. The claim was refuted by stating that the video is of a torchlight procession in Jaipur, Rajasthan on 25 September, 2025. It is said that it is of a torchlight procession taken out to provide justice to the families of the children who died in a school accident in Jhalawar, Rajasthan.

Based on these evidences, we can understand that the viral video shows a torchlight procession held on 25 September 2025 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, not a protest against the Election Commission in Bihar.

is not actually from Rajasthan and is not related to the Bihar Assembly elections. It is a video of a torch march held in September to demand justice for the children who died in a school accident in Jhalawar, Rajasthan.

Conclusion-

Fact Crescendo found the claim made along with the viral video to be False. This video is from a march organized in Jhalawar, Rajasthan, demanding justice for the children who died in a school accident. It has no link to Bihar and Assembly elections.
