This image shows a food safety inspection by government officials at a sweet shop in Haryana which uncovered a batch of rotten dessert.

The NDA is now holding a large majority in recently concluded Bihar Assembly Elections. After the results of the elections were announced, an image is being shared on social media in which it is claimed that, RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) workers dumped rasgullas on the ground following their defeat in the Bihar Elections. The image shows two men pouring what appears to be a large quantity of a food item, likely a type of sweet from a large metal pot into a hole in the ground.

Fact Check- 

We started our investigation with a reverse image search on Google and the results led us to a news report by Amar Ujala published on 10 Nov 2020. The report states that, “Due to the festive season, the Chief Minister’s Flying Squad and the Food and Safety Department raided two locations in the city. Samples were taken from the oil warehouse on Rangdi Road and the Shri Radhe Rasgulla plant in Ram Gali on Kanganpura Road. Additionally, one quintal of spoiled sweets from the Rasgulla factory was destroyed. So this image shows a food safety inspection in Sirsa, Haryana, in 2020. 

Moving forward, we found the entire video of this incident on a YouTube channel named Press Varta. The same details were mentioned there also.

A report by Dainik Bhaskar also shows the sweet being dumped into the ground in Sirsa, Haryana. So, it is clear that the image is not from Bihar and has no connection to the RJD or the Bihar elections.

Fact crescendo found the claim made along with the viral image to be False. This image shows a food safety inspection by government officials at a sweet shop in Haryana which uncovered a batch of rotten dessert. It dates back to 2020.
