A disturbing video showing a man burying four children alive is going viral on social media with the claim that it followed the outcome of a DNA test that revealed they were not his biological children. The man allegedly carried out the act after being informed that none of the four children he had been raising belonged to him biologically.

The caption states, “After DNA test……he found out that the four children are not his biological children. He decided to bury them alive”.

We started our investigation by running a reverse image search on Google and we found that this is a video that has been circulating since the last week of September. Most of the videos are in the Kenyan language, Swahili. If you check out the comment sections of many of the videos, you can see that many people are sceptical of the footage’s genuineness and authenticity. 

Keeping this in mind, we conducted further searches and found another video. This footage explains the filming of the viral video, it shows that there was another tunnel underneath for the children who were thrown into the pit to escape, and that the children had crossed over through it. They are worried that the video was filmed for content creation and is not real, and that the police have arrested the person who threw the children into the pit and covered them in the video, and that they have also been questioned by the police. We obtained this information when we extracted and translated their conversation using elevenlabs.

The explanation video shows the image of the accused, and it was taken from TikTok. The profile name in it is asli.cdy. Using these hints, we searched TikTok found this account. Several videos shot in the background of the same house can be seen on their page.

The video clearly does not depict a real incident; it is merely content creation. If such an event had actually taken place, there would undoubtedly be media reports about it. However, our investigation did not reveal any news coverage regarding this incident.
