However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim was false. The viral video is not from Patna. Here’s the fact check.

Fact Check

We started our investigation by taking screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to a longer version of the video with the same claim. However, we found a few clues in this video. We noticed the symbol of the Delhi Metro in one of the screenshots.

A comparison between the symbols of the Delhi Metro and Patna Metro can be seen below.

In one of the screenshots, we could see the name Swasthya Vibhag Gurugram.

Conducting a relevant keyword search, we found an image of the Huda City Centre metro station on Google Maps. This matches one of the screenshots from the viral video. A comparison between the two can be seen below.

Moreover, the Patna Metro Rail Corporation tweeted on their official X handle refuting the claim on 13 October 2025.

This makes it clear that the viral video is not from the Patna Metro.

Conclusion

From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The viral video is not from the newly opened Patna Metro. The video is from Gurugram.
