Is The Woman In The Photo Astronomer CEO Andy Byron’s Wife? Here’s The Truth.

Astronomer company CEO Andy Byron was caught on camera in an intimate moment with his colleague at the Coldplay concert in Boston. The clip quickly went viral on social media. After the incident, Andy Byron resigned from Astronomer. Against this backdrop, an image a collage of two photos went viral on social media. One photo shows Andy Byron and his colleague’s viral moment at the concert and the other shows a woman with a child. Sharing the image, users claimed that the woman with a child is Andy Byron’s wife.

However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim was false. The woman in the photo is not Andy Byron’s wife. Here’s the fact check. 

Fact Check

We started our investigation by conducting a relevant keyword search. This led us to a report published in the New York Post on 18 July 2025. The report contained two family photos of Andy Byron, his wife Megan Kerrigan and their two sons. The photo of Megan Kerrigan, wife of Andy Byron, is different from the woman in the viral photo.

According to reports, “Megan Kerrigan, the wife of Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, has taken a significant step away from her husband in the wake of the viral Coldplay kiss cam controversy. Following intense public backlash, Kerrigan dropped Byron’s surname from her Facebook profile, signaling potential strain in their marriage after he was seen in a seemingly intimate moment with Kristin Cabot, the company’s Chief People Officer.”

Who is the woman in the viral photo?

 A reverse image search led us to a Thread post on 4 April 2025 which contained the viral image of the woman. The user mentioned an Instagram handle elina.salyakhova.

Taking a clue from this, we conducted a relevant keyword search which led us to an Instagram handle elina.salyakhova, where the viral photo of the woman was uploaded on 31 December 2021. 

Going through the Instagram handle, we found that the woman is Elina Salyakhova, an influencer. 

This makes it clear that the woman in the viral photo is not Andy Byron’s wife. She is an influencer, Elina Salyakhova.

Conclusion 

From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The woman in the viral photo is not the wife of Astronomer CEO Andy Byron. She is Elina Salyakhova, an influencer.
