A video of a massive missile attack went viral on social media recently. Sharing the video, various Pakistan-based social media profiles claimed that the video shows Pakistan’s retaliation after Operation Sindoor.

However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim was false. The viral video is not a real one. It’s a simulation game video. Here’s the fact check.

Fact Check

We started our investigation by taking some screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to a YouTube channel where we found a similar video to the viral video uploaded on 19 February 2022. The caption of the video read, “Massive Artillery fire at Night – MLRS – Barrage – Military Simulation – Arma 3”

It is worth mentioning that Arma 3 is a simulation game.

Moreover, we found a Tweet on the official X handle of PIB Fact Check on 9 May 2025, according to which the video is fake.

This makes it clear that the viral video is from a simulation game, Arma 3.

Conclusion 

From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The viral video doesn’t show Pakistan’s retaliation after Operation Sindoor. The video, in fact, is not a real one. It’s a simulation game called Arma 3.
