According to sources, this is an old video of a plane crash from Philadelphia. It is not related to the recent airstrike by India on Pakistan.

As the conflict between India and Pakistan escalated rapidly on 7 May, a video showing an open area destruction with several parked cars, engulfed in flames is going viral on social media with the claim that it shows the situation in Pakistan after the Indian strikes.
The caption states, “Jinnah Market, Lahore destroyed completely. Pakistan will never recover from this”.
Let’s check the truth.
Fact Check-
We started our investigation by performing a reverse image search with the key frames of the viral video and the results led us to the same video uploaded on YouTube on 1 February 2025 under the caption, “Update on the Plane That Crashed in Philadelphia”.
As per reports from February 2025, “A medical transport jet carrying six individuals, including a young patient and her mother, crashed into a residential area in northeast Philadelphia on Friday evening, resulting in a fiery explosion that claimed the lives of all on board and one person on the ground. Nineteen others sustained injuries. The aircraft, a Learjet 55, went down just 30 seconds after take-off from Northeast Philadelphia Airport”.
However, the evidences states that the video has been available online since at least February 2025. The viral video is old and not related to the recent airstrike by India on Pakistan.
