Recently an image of the UP CM Yogi Adityanath, BJP leaders Hema Malini and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi sitting together and having food went viral on social media. Sharing the image, social media users are claiming that Yogi Adityanath visited Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi’s house on the occasion of Eid and enjoyed a meal there.

However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim was false. The viral image is old and not related to the Eid celebrations. Here’s the fact check.
Fact Check
We started our investigation by conducting a reverse image search. This led us to a tweet on 10 November 2021 where along with other images, the viral image was also uploaded. The caption of the tweet reads, “Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, and Mathura MP and Bollywood veteran Hema Malini enjoys ‘#lithi-chokha’ during #ChhathPooja celebrations at Hunar Haat in #Mathura.”
We found a report published in The Times of India on 11 November 2021 which contained an image similar to the viral image. According to the report, the image shows Yogi Adityanath, Hema Malini and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi at the inauguration of “Hunar Haat” in Vrindavan.

This makes it clear that the viral image is old and not related to the Eid celebrations.
Conclusion
From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The viral image doesn’t show Yogi Adityanath having a meal in Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi’s house on the occasion of Eid. The image shows Yogi Adityanath with Hema Malini and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi at the inauguration of “Hunar Haat” in Vrindavan in 2021.
