The users who share the video claims that this video shows the celebration of Afghans on Indian cricket team’s victory.

We began our investigation with a reverse image search on Google and the results led us to a similar video uploaded on a Pakistan-based YouTube channel named MTN World Wide on 11 April, 2021. The video states, “#this video is for entertainment only peacefully and Pathan culture wedding Dance. Bannu DJ Full HD Video 2021.” The video was taken in 2021 and has no connection to the current ICC Champions Trophy 2025 cricket series.
The video was taken at a wedding party hosted by tribal people in Bannu, Pakistan in 2021. Bannu is a city in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Another YouTube channel shared the video on 30 March, 2021, identifying it to be from Bannu.
Apart from this, many other social media posts can be found regarding this. This indicates that the viral video is neither recent nor related to the ICC Champions trophy 2025. So, we can understand that an old and unrelated video has been shared to show celebrations in Afghanistan after India won the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.
