A social media post claiming that Nestle Pure Life factory is offering jobs with an appealing salary is going viral. The post claimed the job is for men and women under the age of 60 even without any job qualifications.
However, Fact Crescendo found the claim to be false. The social media ad about Nestle offering jobs is a clickbait and scam.
What’s the claim?
The post reads, “Nestle Pure Life Factory (Big Company)
Salary: SGD$2300-$3400/Month++
-Men & women are welcome to apply | Age: under 60 | Foreigners can apply
-No educational requirements | no experience | Training is provided
-Working: 5 Working days/week | Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 17:00
Benefit:
-$300/month, $250 transportation allowance
-meal plans, annual leave, sick leave, 13 days annual leave
-bonuses, lots of PL opportunities (see private)”
Along this the user provided a link to apply for the job.
Fact Check –
We found that the user had also provided a link in the post where people can apply for the job. After clicking that link, it took us to some website called Singapore Jawa Media and not Nestle’s official website.
After clicking many links in the above website, we finally came to a page where the user had provided a link to his WhatsApp to apply for the job. Generally, companies do not use such methods to recruit people.
After this we looked for a job scam alert notice released by Nestle. In their website, Nestle has warned people that fraudsters are creating fake job postings and pretending to represent the company. They post fake jobs online, conduct fake interviews, and send fake job offers. Some even provide false job contracts with forged signatures. They often ask for payments for equipment or personal details like bank account information or photos. Nestle has declared such job offers as hoaxes and warned people not to disclose their personal information.
On 10 May, Nestle posted on Facebook regarding the fake job offers circulating in their company’s name. The post reads, “We are aware that there are fake job postings circulating online, falsely claiming to offer positions within the Nestlé Group. Please do not share the post or provide any personal details.

Fact Crescendo found that the job ads in Nestle company circulating on social media is a scam. Nestle had warned people not to fall for such job ads and not to disclose personal information.
