
An image of a beautiful bridge is now going viral on social media. Users are claiming that this bridge was recently constructed in India.
However, Fact Crescendo found the claim to be false. This is an image of a bridge from Qatar. It is named as Al Wahda.
What’s the claim?
Sharing the image, social media users are claiming that this is a newly constructed flyover in Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh, after the city was renamed from Allahabad.
Fact Check-
A Google Reverse Image Search led us to the same image posted on Facebook on 28 October 2024. It was mentioned that this is a bridge located in Qatar.
A relevant keyword search led us to a similar image of same bridge in a website. As per the information provided, this bridge is located in Doha city of Qatar. This is known as Al Wahda bridge or 56 Bridge of Arch.

The Al Wahda Arches, also known as the 5/6 Arches or Qatar Arch, are two massive steel arches over the Lusail Expressway, connecting West Bay with Lusail City in Qatar. This is Qatar’s tallest monument and won international design awards in 2018 and 2020. They’re linked by cables that symbolize Qatar’s pearl diving heritage, and their bases are covered with limestone from Turkey.
Conclusion:
Fact Crescendo found the claim to be false. The viral image of the bridge is not from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. This bridge is located in Doha City, Qatar and named as Al Wahda Bridge.
