The caption mentioned that Wikileaks has unveiled about Rahul Gandhi’s marriage. The image was forwarded to our 24*7 Factline number 9049053770 requesting a fact check.
However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim was false. Here’s the fact check.

We started our investigation by conducting a relevant keyword search to find the data from Wikileaks about Rahul Gandhi’s marriage. But we could not find anything related to that.
Moving forward, we conducted a reverse image search of the viral image and found a report published in Aaj Tak on 21 September 2017. The report contained the viral image, and according to the report, the woman seen with Rahul Gandhi was Nathalia Ramos, a Spanish actress. In September 2017 while Rahul Gandhi was on a US tour, Nathalia Ramos met him and shared the picture on her social media. Nathalia has a US citizenship. She is known for her role ‘Yasmin’ in the film Bratz.

According to Rahul Gandhi’s affidavit submitted from the Wayanad constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the spouse section was mentioned as “Not Applicable”.
From this, it’s clear that the woman seen with Rahul Gandhi in the picture is not a Colombian and not his wife. She is a Spanish actress Nathalia Ramos.
