Fact Check-
First of all we searched Google with different keywords to find any such information or news regarding New Zealand minister, but we could not find anything.After that we searched the information posted on the official website of the New Zealand government and found that there is no department called Ministry of Home Affairs in the New Zealand government. In addition, we learned that Brooke van Velden has been made the Secretary of Internal Affairs and Workplace Relations.
In further search, we analysed the video carefully and found that the name (@IBRENTGOBLE) was watermarked in the video. Taking a hint from this and searching, we found this video on an Instagram account named Brent Goble.
It was uploaded by @IBRENTGOBLE on his official Instagram account on 2 November, 2023. The caption reads, “Last night was Alex’s naming ceremony While Hinduism isn’t part of my upbringing, I love taking part in the rituals that are important to my wife and in-laws.
I pray my son grows beautifully through life, faces necessary challenges, fights with fierce passion, and loves with an open heart”.
After this we also found some news reports published about Brent Goble . Actually, Brent grew up in America and works as a yoga teacher in India. He is married to Indian-origin actress Ashka Goradia. She has worked in many shows like ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, ‘Nach Baliye’, and ‘Bigg Boss’. Recently he lives in Ahmadabad. You can also find information about the relationship of these two in the news broadcasted by Hindustan Times .
Thus, in our case, the claim made in the above post is proved to be false and baseless. The person in the video is not Home Minister of New Zealand but an American yoga teacher who is married to an Indian actress.
