The video is from Mexico and it dates back to December 2022

Four persons were arrested in connection with a road rage incident in Delhi last week, and a cab driver was allegedly stabbed to death by three people as he did not give them a way to pass in a traffic jam in south Delhi. Against this backdrop, a video showing a road rage incident is going viral on social media, with the claim that the video is from Delhi.

Fact Check-

We started the investigation with a reverse image search on Google which led us to a similar video uploaded on the AD Noticias on 4 December 2022, with Spanish caption translated as “Motorists fight on Av. Tecnológico in Toluca, there are crashes and one person is run over”

The description states, “Two motorists started a fight on Avenida Tecnológico, near the Crisa Bridge, in Toluca, State of Mexico. The discussion reached such a level that one of the crew members of a vehicle got out of the car to continue the conflict. However, the car did not hesitate to run over him multiple times, throwing him against the pavement”.

A report published from 5 December states that A man was run over on the Tollocan bridge and Tecnológico avenue in Toluca , State of Mexico , a fact that emerged in a video that circulated on social networks where you can see that an individual was hit twice by the same vehicle. The Secretary of Security of the State of Mexico (SSC-Edomex) reported that the people involved in the accident were arrested, where a car ran over a man twice, who had previously kicked the vehicle. According to information from local media, the events occurred on the Tollocan Bridge and Tecnológico avenue in the border area between Metepec and Toluca, on the night of December 3”.

The report also included a post shared on Twitter regarding the incident along with the similar video. A driver was hit several times during a traffic argument in the State of Mexico. The violent situation was recorded by several people who witnessed the accident.

These evidences confirm that the viral video is not from Delhi and it is not recent.

Fact Crescendo found the claim made along with the viral video to be False. The video is from Mexico and it dates back to December 2022.
