Fact Check-

We started our investigation by running a Google reverse image search, whose results revealed that the image had been uploaded to the internet several years ago. This made it clear that the picture is old. Below you can see the image uploaded on Facebook in 2019.

In further search we discovered the same image in an article published on the website of The New Humanitarian (an independent news agency focusing on humanitarian stories) on 6 April, 2016. The caption states, “Documenting daily life at Idomeni camp”. According to the article, this is an image taken by Robert Astorgano of Idoeni, Greece, during the 2016 migrant crisis.
