The video went viral a day after Dion announced on her social media sites that new music would be released on April 13, 2023.

In December 2022, the 90s singing sensation known for hits like as 'My heart will go on' stated that she had been diagnosed with a rare progressive neurological disorder called Stiff-Person Syndrome, forcing her to cancel upcoming concerts and shows.

We carefully observed the video and found that the woman did not look like the singer Celine Dion and ran a keyword search for woman in wheelchair dancing with son and found several results from 2022 about a woman named Kathy Poirier dancing at her son Zak's wedding. A report published by NDTV on 22 May 2022 carried screenshots from the viral video. The article stated that the woman seen in the video is Kathy Poirier, who lost the ability to walk after she got diagnosed with ALS. The report says The mother and son duo danced in front of a crowd of about 130 guests at Ever After Farms Blueberry Wedding Barns in Florida, US.

In further search we discovered A July 2022 video report by the show Good Morning America identified the woman as Kathy Poirier, who was diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a neurological condition that destroys motor neurons, limiting voluntary muscle movement in patients. Poirier tells the viewers on the television that she felt nervous before the dance because she was afraid of being gazed at. "It was a moment she had dreamed about for a long time," recalls Poirier.

We also found a similar video uploaded on Instagram by the wedding planners 'Roots and Stems' on 11 April 2022. The description on the video mentioned that Zak danced with his mom at his wedding, which surprised the guests.

Later we came across a detailed interview given by Kathy who is from Florida, US to several news channels where she says she was diagnosed with ALS a few years before her son Zak's wedding. The story was carried by Fox News.

Meanwhile, we searched Celine Dion's social media accounts, including Instagram and Twitter, and discovered that she has not shared any such video about her son's wedding. The singer has three sons, the oldest of whom is 21 years old, and two twins aged 12.
